Week of the 'C' part 1

This week has been really fun so far.   We did a regular school day on Monday and then Tuesday it felt like we needed a special fun day so we went to Ceour d' Alene to go to the Kroc Center.  We got there around noon and they told us we couldn't go in until 3:30 so we went to Triple Play.  There was no way I was turning around and heading home after all of the hype about how much fun we were going to have.  Triple Play was fun, it was just about triple the price too but it felt worth it at the time.

In the last couple of weeks we have been picking, preserving, baking and eating apples and plums.  So far we have made a batch of applesauce, dehydrated apples, two apple crisps, an apple pie, baked apples, plum fruit leather and dehydrated plums.  Next on the fruit agenda is picking pears and finding something to do with them.

Here's our fruit leather in blended form and below is the finished product.  Finally.

Miles was inspired this day to wear these play glasses.  He was so adorable.  He wore them all morning and part of the time we were at Triple Play.

We had fun playing games.  Then we spent 2 1/2 hours in the water park area.

Ani won this in the claw game that usually doesn't give you anything.  Miles tried and, you guessed it, didn't win anything so Ani gave him Maggie.  The next day it turned out to be more of a share in Maggie.

We went for a walk in the rain to run some errands and do some puddle jumping.  Miles kept requesting to go down the owie (alley).

This girl is so beautiful.  I love the shots of her when she was preoccupied with Miles and not paying attention to me taking her picture.

I am so blessed to be able to spend so much time with these wonderful people.  I love them dearly but I also really like them.
